Bought in December for 26499
Yes it take a 10-15 second boot time to get on
But yes 50 inch is worth the price

All smart things whether it is phone or tv gets slower
Main reason
application size get increased day by day
You don't clear cache files
Fill with lot of stuff (application)

That slow down the things
No idea for samsung or LG

Depends on various factors. Unlike Android phones, brands rarely update OS versions on AndroidTVs and security/bug updates don't bring big changes to system performance
But like someone mentioned before, application updates can make you feel the device is slow, not just because of the size but updated UI/features too (Storage is limited too.
For a 16GB TV, 8GB is reserved for OS itself and another 3/4GB for pre-installed apps. Max you get about 5GB more for new apps & games)
Don't consider Multi-tasking as a thing for AndroidTVs, so 1.5GB RAM for 4k and 1GB for FHD should be enough
Not sure about Samsung but any device needs some time to load all the system services (Max 30sec it should be)

See Xiaomi has slightly different thing in range

It has Mi or xiaomi

Redmi
All are of single parent company
Mi 5x has almost same features that of Xiaomi X series

I think this is the latest
But a little downgrade to mi 5x as it has 8gb storage compared to 16
But price wise vfm
In this same redmi has model
Redmi x50 available on amazon
