Hi guys, for those who are planning to buy this particular model from this seller, just know that this is a old stock (Feb 2021 made). I bought it and it works perfectly but Im having trouble registering for warranty as wd is asking proof that this is a newly bought one and not a used one, even after I had sent them invoice. I have contacted both flipkart and wd support, lets see how it goes.

BTW Toshiba has silently downgraded the warranty duration to 2 years in case of Canvio Advance and lower series. The packaging still mentions 3 years warranty though. Ditto for the product listing in Flipkart.
