Best wishes for when service support is needed, especially post warranty period.
i dont think any brand gives good service anymore. Everything is outsourced and its easier and cost effective to get your neighborhood guy to service or repair. That said Flipkart home brands are probably just rebranded products with zero quality control.
Using marq ac from 5yrs no problem till now and almost every brands customer support is same now, plus Panasonic is now helping marq so might improve marq products
True. Using marq from years. No problem.

Actually few years back, had really poor experience with Oster India.
Back then, they had no real office also. It was the classic 'import and dump' model. Jeeves was their so called authorised support partner. Kept us hanging for three weeks.
Since then, have never come across any average consumer who has been particularly 'wow'ed by Jeeves.
Jeeves changed hands from BPL eventually, as Flipkart invested heavily in BPL's large appliances division.
And now, for almost all large appliances bought via Flipkart, the default vendor for A.S.S. happens to ve Jeeves.
As such, Koryo, MarQ type brands may not be too bad.
Because a lot of them buy components of Toshiba, Sharp or others.
And yes, it could be rebadged Haier, Carrier products too.

It is 1.4T and not 1.5T, Am I right?

Nor the manuals or other literature make it clear.
However, for certifications purpose and under test conditions, they might have taken it to 18000 BTU.
Average use case scenario might see depreciated performance.

Neighborhood guy may service the ac for cheap.
But what about when PCB fails (PCBs for inverter ACs are supercostly). What will we do then?

so MarQ spares and main parts might easily be available with 'the neighborhood guy'.

More than money, the mental harrassment of not having a functional air conditioning unit.
Not to mention the repeat followups/visits of neighbourhood ac guy who would want to help you with some "jugaads".

I too merely had 🗡my daggers🤺 drawn on MarQart.
[That it would not be surprising if the company has tied-up with these very repairwallahs, to even make the actual, new product too.]

Thanks for the update.

Many manufacturers offers 5 yrs PCB warranty on inverter acs and 10 yrs warranty on compressors.
