Not a gigabit router.

Anyways, have received the product and satisfied with it. Installation was a breeze and the coverage (Main criteria) is excellent as compared to Ibaton mesh, which am using for past 3 years.

Dont know if it will cover 2 floors; better go for 2 sets. I also bought 2 sets but one is enough to cover Ground & 1st floor though signal is weak at one end of Ground Floor as I have kept one mesh at center room and other at the extreme end of 1st floor.
Since I already have connected IBaton mesh to my main router, I connected this to WAN of IBaton Mesh and it worked surprisingly. 2nd mesh (Node) was connected by simultaneously pressing pair button in the meshes. To have full coverage, you can have 'n' number of nodes.
Thinking of buying another set and linking to give connectivity to my sisters' whose house is next to mine!
Don't buy , now 100 mbps has become base speed
In near 1 year broadband will provide 300 mbps as base speed, i have a friend who is wifi operator he said as soon as jio launches a tariff they might face rough competition and might have to offer higher speed at low prices
Currently he is offering airtel @ 500 rs 300 mbps if we pay for 1 year
Can s12 be connected to h30g or other ones which has gigabit lan to form mesh ?
If it connects then gigabit model can be connected to main router and s12 works as node

Halo S12 is compatible with every other Halo model to form a Mesh network. Expand Mesh Wi-Fi coverage anytime by simply adding more Halos.

Q: Can Halo H50G work with the other Halo models?
A: Halo H50G is compatible with all units from the Halo H series to form a Mesh network. Please note that the Halo H series and S series cannot work together. For example, H50G cannot set a mesh network with Halo S3/S12.

got it today... but I'm confused... do we have to connect 1 mesh box to the wifi modem router through an Ethernet cable at all times and only the 2nd box will work as a range expander..... or we can use any of the boxes as a wireless range expander.... tried to set up hard wired but after removing Ethernet connection and placing both the pods 3 meters distance from my Airtel xtream fiber modem router... those pods are showing red light and not connecting to internet either
