Mi 11X 5G 6GB RAM 128GB ROM | SD 870 | DisplayMate A+ rated E4 AMOLED (Rs 7000 off with HDFC cards)

I’m very happy with these phones. My avg purchase price after exchanging 5 yr old phones was 20k with 1 yr Screen replacement incase of accidental damage. (I changed the screen and glass on old phones for around 3k total for hassle free exchange. You can add 1.5k to each for that. But these were OLD phones. Like I got the redmi note 5 for 9999 4 yrs ago and got 7.5k as exchange value lmao)

This is a failed flagship device from Xiaomi and it makes an EXCELLENT budget phone. This is similar to the K20 pro. Where Xiaomi launched it at much higher price. It ended up making great vfm at 20k. The other option was Redmi Note 10 pro and I will prefer this one waaay more than that. Those phones lag with miui itself LOL. I am going to flash Miui EU rom on this for stock miui dialer. I think this phone will easily run for 4-5 yrs given how it has a mental screaming fast processor for a very cheap price.

I have flashed the Miui EU rom on one of the phones cause call recording is needed on it. This got rid of the Google dialer and call recording too.

Exchange for a Redmi note 4 comes to around 18500. I don’t know any phone that comes close to this with a snapdragon 870 processor. If you don’t like miui you can just install any of the custom roms.

I posted this here cause a lot of people will miss this good phone cause of all the bad reviews. For 99% people this is the MOST vfm phone. If you or your parents need a phone. Just get this. It ticks all boxes. It’s not bad at anything. It’s great at being fast and it clicks decent pics. The difference in pics on this and nord 2 is like 10%. Price difference is 35%.

Issues –
Proximity sensor – Happens in very few peices and it happens only like 5-10% times.
Green tint – happens at 10-20% brightness when viewing grey colour. And you have to be looking for it to see it. 99% people won’t even see it. This is a common issue with 120hz amoled displays. Consider that the display goes to 1200 nits and looks amazing with hdr content.

Also the sound is very good. You won’t have complaints.

When you go to buy a Motorola or a OnePlus try to see how sucky their service is and if they even have a service center. I had OnePlus 3t for 4 yrs and they got a service center in Nagpur in 2020. And they’re so bad it’s hilarious. Compared to that mi has 4 centers 🤣

5G Spectrum hasn’t been auctioned yet. Do you really think 5G will be rolled out, with meaningful performance in the next 24 months ?

Exchange real me C2 phone, a phone I bought three years ago for 7000 for 9625.

My diwali sale is now done.

Got this phone now, will review after using it for 1-2 hours
