3G wasn't usable, 4G is quite good, works most of the time, even I use LTE and don't care about free 5G most of the time. If they don't void the current speed of 4G, most people buying a sub 10k phone would be fine. Especially if someone has WiFi, it's useless, in most locations I go to Jio 5G speeds are worse than JioFiber connections.

1. If a tower in a location is upgraded to 5g , will it affect 4g speeds in that location ?

3. Will 4g bandwidth decongection due to more people switching to 5g each day , enhance 4g speeds .

4g 5g they both run on same backend fiber connection. Think of it as a Mercedes & a Hyundai both running on same overbridge & if there is a traffic jam on the bridge then both will crawl.

Bro out of curiosity, will it be a good decision to buy this in exchange of 3y old Poco M2 pro (4, 64) on cashify going for 5700?

Though it's working fine as of now! Also, it's not just about using a new phone, I have really got accustomed to using M2 pro so that kinda restricts me to switch to a new phone.

If your old phone is working fine for your usage then don't upgrade unless it is a very good deal & especially if you have accustomed to its features. Moto phones come with near stock android which no doubt is smoother because of lesser memory consumption but that also means many features one expect out of the box from phone are not available.,

Doubt most would use 5G if the prices are more than 4G.
Most people are ok with that and wifi

I would not suggest it's a downgrade interms of performance and camera so look for better options

Isn't this moto a very old model? Aren't there better models in 2023 now?

With so many brands & models with varying prices, it is confusing.

Which is a cheap & best phone with proper calling (for senior citizens), good battery? For YouTube & Facebook? (Pref latest model from 2023) below 10k??

Go for this one. Yes, it is an year old. But the at 9k it is the best phone in my opinion. I have bought it for my mom and she is happy with it. It's light, thin and very sanppy for everyday usage. Cameras are nice and the front cam is delightful. My mom is very happy and tells  everyone how clear her selfies are now.

For a regular user 5g doesn't matter if you are not consuming hq content.

If you are too concerned about latest phones, check. Moto G14 at 8k.

Operators will raise 4g rates to match 5 g rates. Get ready for one more hike in mobile price very soon. Monthly recharge going to be between 300 to 400 rs soon for 4 g phones which be near to 5 g rates for sure. 😂

Wondering whether to pick g14 or g32 at 9k or get g54 with 12gb ram at 15k (during the sale). G54 looks tempting, but expensive at 15k (compared to these), but is also more future proof with more ram & space.

Trust me 8gb is more than enough. No need to spend 15k especially for an elderly person

Better ignore this deal and settle for newly launched 5G phones.

8GB or 12GB RAM with G88 is poor combo.

Better get Poco M6 Pro 5G(4GB/64GB) at Rs.9999, the processor is much faster and it will perform much better than G88.

Alternatively you may choose Redmi 12 5G(4GB/128GB) at Rs.10999 if you don't trust Poco as a brand.
