did anyone check the final weight of the gold after melting? When I gave this muthoot gold pendant for exchange at Tanishq, the final weight reduced by 40%. not sure if it is due to the mistake of gold smith or problem with the gold coin. The gold smith said it happens rarely due to mishandling, and he borne the loss. But I also had doubt on the quality of the pendant. So, asking if anyone checked the final weight after melting or not. Please share your experiences so that many people who are now showing more interest in buying coins online will know the pros and cons.

I exchanged, and I haven’t had any issues. But what if Muthoot or other players does this gimmick randomly? IMHO they won’t do it, and they have certain things to comply with
