Actually this is a 2K display but for years brands promoted QuadHD QHD (2560 × 1440px) as 2K (2000 x XXXXpx)

Btw anything >1999 is considered 2K. So they are using 2000 × 1200 resolution display. So have to say it’s 2K in a way

Even FHD/1080p is considered as 2k display. The 4K resolution in the table is exactly 2x the pixels (Horizontal + Vertical) of FHD (Actual 4K resolution is 4096 x 2160px). Brands are trying to take advantage of this fact and market their devices

Yes bro I too know this. These names came at different times of IT evolution. But some manufacturers confusing with different monikers for their product promotion. They should follow some standards like 720p is HD, 1080p is Full-HD, 1440p is QHD aka 2k, 2160p is UHD aka 4k, etc.

P.S: Xiaomi now calls their pad 5 as 2.5k display massage (I get it they should have few more pixels in vertical line since it is 16:10 but it will lead to confusion again!)
