Income proofs r needed, in most cases when they dont ask it means they have got the info from other sources linked to pan, or may be they use ur credit history

Sharing my own experience with ICICI credit cards.
I am a student, never worked full time, only worked as CA article for 3 years.
I have a SBI saving account since 7 years, also got a SBI Credit card alongwith it. I never failed any CC payments. Also took a quick loan of 1 lakh via sbi Yono app, paid it in full without delay.
All of this helped increase my cibil rating to a respectable level. 2 months back, got a call from ICICI employee from my city, he said that I am eligible to get a LIFETIME FREE ICICI CORAL credit card with limit 100000 because my cibil rating is high.

I told him that I’m not working currently, he said he will manage. He wrote a fake office address and got it approved himself. I got the card within 4 days.

Yesterday I applied for this Amazon pay Icici credit card via ADHAAR linked mobile number. The online application didn’t ask for INCOME PROOF, I opted for video KYC and showed my face, signature and pan card to the live KYC agent. Now waiting for its approval.

Yes didn’t asked any proofs maybe they are giving based on credit score and existing cc got highest limit

I applied and no income docx were required. I currently don’t have a job but I entered my previous company details. From Company address to corporate email Id. I was sure the application will get rejected, but to my surprise, It got approved within 2 days.

I apply for this card on 9 October can I apply again now or is there any time limit like after 90 or 180 days you can apply if previous one was declined

If they are not asking for income proof, they will issue a very small limit card like 10k, 25k. This was the case with me with Axis card, they gave me 25k limit whereas my other card limit was 5 lakh

2 Months Ago I Applied… No Income Documents Given. Only Video Kyc. Got Approved And Received Credit Card. Got It Based On Cibil Score.

Most of the users whose application was approved without income documents are salaried. I think location also plays a factor.

Got it without income proof long back, they used my amazon shopping history for that. Had spends of more than 2 lac in a year
