I had tried in June, got rejected in July. Yet to complete that 180 days cooling period bro

In my point of view don.t upgrade it and apply Apay on basis of your existing card. In that way you have two cards with same limit and double the offers.
And by chance Apay blocked, you may still able to use your other card.

This is a good card since it is lifetime free but it gives only 3 percent reward points
One of my friend has one icicit cc as well as apay card (this is unused from several months coz address was different and lockdown started)

You will get all the card details immediately on approval including CVV so that you can make purchases immediately (they want your money ASAP). Meanwhile the physical card is couriered to you.
Online offers applicable to ICICI card doesn’t hold for Amazon ICICI card..So the choice is up to you. They exclude ICICI Amazon card from all other offers. So finally this card remains as Amazon specific only.

I was holding ICICI free for lifetime card since 2003 and a zero balance bank account too since the same period… had a very less credit limit as never required high. Applied for APay card and received in seconds. Limit same but not shared. Asked for limit increase, done for old platinum card but ICICI says for APay limit can change only after 6 statements… so waiting as 5 statements done…
Are you sure the limits are not shared? Did you confirm with the customer care?

ya true that,,flipkart/makemytrip and many other websites deny the icici credit card offers for icici amazon pay and the discount simple doesnt show up whereas it shows instant discount on my other regular icici credit card i use..also i remember flipkart clearly mentioning that icici apay card is not illegible for icici dicount in their FAQ section pertaining to the icici credit card offer

Guys note, Amazon Pay card will not give you any cash back (either 3% or 5%(prime)) if you are buying anything in ‘No Cost EMI’ (read expensive purchases) unless specifically mentioned! In such cases it is better to use other cards.
