Blood pressure
Spo2
Are needed to check often. Useful for parents and children.

Mi band 5 doesn’t have sp02.
Does this OnePlus has both ?

@vickyVicky Please do not use these smartwatches to check SpO2 or any other vitals for actual medical use or to monitor a disease progression. They are most often wrong/inconsistent. You need to measure your blood O2 saturation at your extremities, like finger tips. A wrist watch/band won’t provide an accurate reading plus depending on it’s position, the reading might change. If you really need to monitor SpO2 for medical uses or to monitor the health condition of someone suffering from a respiratory disease, buy a pulse oximeter.

Heart rate/ Pulse, not Blood Pressure.

Unless this band has a certified SpO2/ HR sensor it’s just a pointless release, maybe only for OP fans. Honor Band 5 is a good one already and has been available for over a year now with Honor Band 6 already released in China and should release here soon!

Not worth it. If you want to buy a new fitness band, wait for Honor Band 6. This is just rebranded oppo band.

These bands are much better than the bulky smart watches
At least u can wear them once and forget their existence for the rest of the day (If you plan to use 24hr sleep tracker / heart rate monitor)
Whatever smart watches i have tried in the recent past, i get rid of them as soon as i reach home (Except the Amazfit GTR though)
The deciding factor would be accuracy (steps/heart rate) which many bands fail at

Why everyone is so obsessed about bands or smart watches, I don’t really find it useful at all like except tracking sports activity, it’s mostly a useless product.

Its just market created by advertisement….why do u need sleep tracker are we so weak that now we need to track our sleep also…heartrate monitor not needed of 90% of human being unless one have any preconditions. Tell me if u have high heart rate wont u know ? Btw most of ppl have either higher heartrate or lower than normal because normal heartrate is also another gimmick…yes if one want to show off band than sure useful…personal view so dont get offended..

I do agree, these fitness trackers aren’t for everyone
The useful thing about the sleep tracker is tracking the “Deep Sleep” factor. Usually people track their track based on when they go to bed + when they get up. There used to be a time when i used to sleep @ multiple intervals during the day and eventually it did affect me negatively after an year or two and i think this is no different than people waking up every hour or two during night times

Yes, you may not need this consistently but checking it once or twice a while is beneficial

About heartrate Monitor, apart from those w/ pre-existing illnesses.. i feel the stats might be useful to those who work out a lot and the Resting HR + Max HR depending on the work they do might give an idea on how healthy their heart is (In the recent times, even the 30+/40+ are dying due to heart attacks.. those who had never suspected to have any illness or have done ECG)

Ha ha very well said. But one thing you’re missing is, those who have high/ irregular heart rate, they need to monitor theirs for the actual measurements to quote to doctors and all. Same way when you go to doctors they actually check your pressure despite knowing you have high pressure.

I wear automatic watches only (used to, just now right now due to my financial condition) and call these devices toys, but these toys do have a certain functions which are actually worth it. I go out for walks wearing the damn HB5 and check my average (and high) pulse because I have irregular heart rate (maybe Arrhythmiaa). It’s good to know that, the exact figures. Similarly, the blood oxygen saturation level is a must have to have nowadays.

The medical grade Pulse oximeters cost around 2k to 3k, while those should be preferred over these bands/ toys at all times, why not try a toy which offers those features and then some? We have seen many reports throughout the world where Apple watch users are saved from a heart attack because that damn watch kept altering the wearer because their ECG was abnormal. Don’t you think 40k is nothing in respect to a human life?

Anyway, while these toys will remain ones i will just throw on a table after coming back home, have zero admiration for them, they still have their purposes. A band with FCC certification should be looked into as long as the company is not asking arms and length for it. Please understand, what you said is absolutely true, one should only care and focus on his/ her health first and foremost but to retain that good health it doesn’t hurt to have a facilitator.

Nope, they are generally items which are returned within a week where buyers have either stolen accessories or damaged the packaging.
Generally Apario retail is the seller for these products, so risk is mostly covered.

This band will easily be listed for 1k in the renewed section in 10 odd days
