Not worth it. Sd 845 is very old now... No doubt performance is top notch but this phone has lot of heating issue... I had bought this phone 2 years back and now suddenly it's keep on restarting due to heating issue...
I had bought this 5 years ago on the day this was launched for some 17000. It is still running properly, and is my primary device. No complaints. Every year I looked to upgrade, but there was no phone that I found worthy to upgrade to. Like, I am not missing any features in this one. And I am often losing features when I try to upgrade. For example, there is no easy call recording in new phones while this one has inbuilt recording without any annoying warning.
Now I will consider upgrading next year if there is good worthy 5G phone. Otherwise maybe wait for 2-3 years.
Mine's 3.5 years old. I have now handed it over to my father. Should be performant enough for at least another 2 years. I was a little worried that Android 14 would be impossible due to the underlying kernel being dropped by A14 but there are workarounds. Still 5 Android OS updates is pretty good considering it launched with A8 and official support ended at A10.
Can't recommend anyone to buy this device (and certainly not at this price) as spares including the battery have been officially discontinued in the last 1-2 months.
