Poco M5 (Icy Blue, 64 GB) (4 GB RAM)

I hv POCO M2. There was no MIUI 13 update. Dual app doesn't work (amazon dual when open will show the original a/c details). Whatsapp dual will not initiate sms for upi payment. The battery charging takes a lot of time. Signal receptivity is very less.

Redmi 9 Prime: Same hardware. Already MIUI13 updated. here rest of the problem as it is. Battery charging is better. Very poor receptivity. But signal strength will display all the bars, there won't be any data traffic. Both handsets bought same time. My experience shared with this brand Vs Redmi 9 Prime.

Use secondary accounts in Work Profile in Island app. Works flawlessly including UPI usage, even  w/o root.

Once few dual apps are running, why few are to be used with island app? Not a tech expert, hence this query.

I have never used dual apps feature having only used MIUI for the first time in several years. I gave you a solution rest is up to you.

Thank you, apparently it is not against your suggestions. My genuine query. In the past I had used island in a handset which was not having its own dual app. Sorry if you felt bad about my text.

Me, my father and my brother are using poco and oppo phones of 3-6 years, dual apps are working well. Infact, my brother is still running 5 amazon apps in his phone with the help of 2 chinese dual apps.

It's my first time hearing problem running dual apps and even phone reception at this age.

But I'm not a technical expert so don't know why it's happening to you. Show your phone to some kid, nowadays kids know a lot about phone stuff and solutions 😅

So cheap, good find. Hope Flipkart is not selling stolen phones again.

WhatsApp dual working only for text. Payment, UPI not initiating sms verification msg. I said clearly few dual apps working. Amazon dual is showing the account of original amazon app log in and can't use any second account. Signal reception, could identify that my POCO handset and another handset used at the same location using same operator, the other handset could operate on data traffic, but mine was struggling. Another dimer asked me to try island. But it was not adding dual app to work profile, I believe it needs some nibbling in developer mode etc. Hence not went ahead. Dual app for Redmi Prime 9, a clone device of POCO is same. But at least Redmi gave MIUI 13 update.

Watch a YouTube video or something to understand how Island works. It's super easy!!! It just provides a front-end for the Work Profile feature built into Android. You don't need to do mess around with anything in Developer Options at all. It doesn't even need to be enabled. 

P.S. I hope you weren't trying to add  MIUI's Dual App thingy into Island... You create a second account for ex. of WhatsApp by clicking on the WA app in the Mainland section.
