Better to buy this directly from Apple using Student discount. If you don’t have student ID, then it is very easy to create. Just find one colleage going student in friends and family and you’re done. Upload his ID and supply his email while creating ID. He will get a confirmation mail on his ID which he need to click on and that’s it. Not only you get a better price but you get customization option as well like ability to select HD size or unified memory size (8,16,24)

Student discount is good when you want to buy a custom version (say 16GB RAM). For other purposes you get equal/better deal on Amzn/Fk with Cards. Also Apple does not give a GST bill. So if you can somehow get GST credit, get from Amzn/Fk.
Intersting discussion. Never thought that buying on Apple site or offline with student ID or corporate discount wp7ld be cheaper than buying from online Ecom sites.
