How can I avail this benefit? • Enroll in Prime membership/ have an active prime membership • Link Amazon Pay Balance (ABP) in the Uber app under chosen profile • Select Amazon Pay Balance as the payment instrument while booking the ride • Confirm that premier and go are at the same rates, select premier as the preferred cab option
2. How many times will the Prime members get Uber Premier at the price of Uber Go? Prime members are eligible for Premier upgrades three times in a month.
3. How do you count month – is it calendar month or from the first time I avail upgrade etc.? Calendar month- 1st to last day of the calendar month
4. 20% Up to Rs.60 is available on which all rides for Prime members? All Prime members can avail 20% up to Rs.60 every month, 3 times, on following rides-Auto, Moto, Rentals, Inter-city trips via the Uber app monthly
5. Will I get the upgrade benefit if I Pay using Amazon Pay UPI? Prime members are eligible for this upgrade only of the payment is made through amazon Pay Balance. This is not applicable for payments made through UPI.
6. Will I get this upgrade, if I pay with Amazon Pay ICICI Credit card? Prime members are eligible for this upgrade only of the payment is made through amazon Pay Balance. This is not applicable for payments made through Amazon Pay CBCC ICICI Card.
7. I am a non- Prime member and want to avail the benefit, how can I do the same? Non-Prime members can buy Prime membership and avail the free upgrade to Premier rides at the price of Go, in addition to all other Prime benefits.
8. I am not a Prime member, but I saw the communication of 3 Premier rides at the price of Go on Uber. You need to be a Prime member to be eligible for this offer.
9. My Prime membership will expire mid-month(20th of the month), will I get the 3 upgrade rides for the month or lower? You are eligible for 3 free upgrades in a month, which can one use it anytime in the month. This upgrade will not eligibile post the expiry of the membership.
10. What will happen when Prime members book more than 3 rides in a month with Amazon Pay balance? Prime members will get 3 Premier rides at the price of Go every month, from the 4th rides onwards, they will see different prices for Uber Go and Premier.
11. What if Prime member doesn’t want to avail the upgrade benefit? While making the cab booking, Prime members can choose between Uber Premier and Uber Go. They will see same price, and can choose to go with Uber Go if they don’t want to avail for the upgrade.
12. I(Prime member) have chosen Uber Go instead of Uber Premier while booking my cab for the month, will I still get 3 rides at the price of Go? Yes, 3 successful rides will be eligible for upgrade (Uber Premier at the price of Uber Go)
13. I have taken the trial Prime membership; will I get the 3 free upgrades to Premier at the price of Uber go? Yes, you will be eligible for this upgrade, during the duration of trial Prime membership.
14. I( Prime Member) cannot see the option of upgrade in my city? The free upgrade is applicable in cities where Uber Premier is available. List of cities at bottom.
15. I availed for an upgrade, and the driver cancelled/did not take the ride? Will this count against my free upgrade? No, it will not be counted against the 3 Free upgrades. The upgrade will be counted once the ride is successfully completed.
16. Do I need to apply any coupon code/offer code in Uber app? No code needed; Prime customer will automatically see the price of Uber Premier at the Price of Uber Go
17. What if Amazon Pay Balance is insufficient to cover the ride cost? You can add the required amount to your balance, before booking your cab via any payment instrument of your choice- UPI, Credit card, Debit card etc.
18. I don’t want the offer and don’t want my Prime details shared with Uber When you login with Amazon Pay on Uber for the first time, you receive a pop-up asking your consent to share this information with Uber app. You can choose not to share the data with the Uber app. Once done, you cannot uncheck this later.
19. I use a different phone number for Amazon Prime and Uber. Will I still be eligible? This upgrade is eligible on Amazon Pay Balance account, which you use to make the payment on Uber. This is not related to the phone number being used to login on Uber.
