I can understand. Those stable days are gone now with F1 and X3 Pro.

Most of the sr devs left the scene already. Rest you are pro.

There are still experienced devs around but they mostly seem to use premium devices like Oneplus or Pixels. Device released with A12 is  mandated to run Linux 5.x kernel for close proximity to the mainline Linux kernel branch which in theory should make custom ROM development a lot easier but so far there seems to be scant evidence in this regard unfortunately.

SD888 is a heater . Simple task makes the phone too hot which ultimately deteriorates the battery life. SD Gen 1 has the same problem.

Wait for actual reviews. YouTubers never discusses the problems in phone like battery backup and heating issue.

Even the new MediaTek dimensity 9000 is the heater, even though it is built on the world’s 1st TSMC N4 (4nm-class) Smartphone Chip.

Snapdragon + Samsung was poor till date, be it 8 gen 1 or 888 but now TSMC is on the same path.

I guess something going wrong with the chipset. Hoping for the best for the chips to work properly. The only good chipset, we have had in Android is 870 which is almost 2 years old but still trustworthy.
