If you'd like to go for the best washing experience, go for a semi-automatic model. It's much more versatile, much faster, more convenient, more efficient.

You can have a worry-free experience, large capacity & multi-uses from a semi-automatic model.

You can have quick refreshes of clothes, by just using the spin-tub. You can use the wash tub for soaking for starch, applying dyeing, etc. The semi-automatic large capacity model can handle blankets and curtains & would be gentle on clothes - when using the 'gentle' mode.

I had a fully-automatic washing machine, which was carefully & sparingly used. After about 10 years, I heard noises from the bearing. I checked with the authorized service center and they said, the bearing & an arm that comes along with it, needs to be replaced. The quotation was 8000 Rs! I exchanged it for a semi-automatic machine...
