Price is quite tempting after bank discounts but it's better to avoid Samsung as it's giving just 1 yr normal warranty which isn't enough as other brands are giving 5 yrs PCB warranty.

Samsung was giving 5 yrs comprehensive warranty besides 10yrs compressor warranty for past 2 years but this year it withdrew this offer all of sudden .

Is it 1 year if bought offline too? Is Samsung not confident on their products? Is there higher than expected failure rate in 1-5year period!

I have samsung in my both of the rooms using from 3 years without any issue.

Samsung does give 5 years warranty on pcb but in offline stores. If u are lucky u may find 1 or 2 models with a 5 year warranty online but that's rare. What you said is perfect because alone pcb costs around 7 to 8k. So better to stay away from brands who don't cover pcb. Go with lg they are providing 10 years on compressor with gas filling too also they have 5 years on pcb.

Some offline shops & Samsung's website are giving 5 yrs warranty mainly on 2022 models and Samsung website confirms extended warranty on some 2022 model's product page also but not in any 2023 model. 

5 yrs Samsung warranty covers more than just PCB that's why Samsung was my first choice but why this year Samsung withdrew this offer is unknown.

Maybe AC's quality are not up to the mark as I read a lot of negative reviews about Samsung's AC online . So, without 5 yrs warranty support, it's like burning our hard earned money.

I think in some promotional offer, they could offer this extended warranty in coming months but how long one can postpone purchase in hope of that offer as summer has already arrived.

Their website says 5 year warranty is only till 31 December 2022. It is only for old models. Now, if you click on their warranty option it only says 1 year warranty + 10 years on compressor.

Yes but Reliance Digital says till 31st March. However, a person mentioned on Twitter that the warranty card he got with 2022 model AC says warranty not applicable after 31st Dec 2022.
