Very bad decision by Samsung to Launch phones with Chinese Mediatek processors when better snapdragon or their own Exynos processors are available.
Why should anyone pay higher price, specially in A series, when parts are Chinese?
It can make sense in M series for cost cutting but certainly not on A series.
Better avoid.
With Chinese processor, when they themselves are making processors!
MediaTek isn’t Chinese, its Taiwanese company and foundry is used solely as TSMC as compared to Snapdragon where foundry can be TSMC/Samsung. Basically by buying MediaTek you are making sure that the money is going against china for sure.

What’s diff between A series and M series
A is mid end series ,whereas M is low to mid end series.

samsung can easily regain their top spot if only they start using snapdragon 7xx soc’s in their mid tier phones i have a feeling ppl will happily pay even a 30-35% premium over the dhinese competition for the amoled display, comparatively better software and brand
