Note that M33 is a generation old (Mar-2022). M34 is the latest version (Jul-2023).
M34 8/128GB will cost Rs 18.5k after HDFC/ICICI card discount on Samsung corporate site. It is nearly 19k for non-corporates. Bit pricey right now but I think it'll go down during the discount / festival season.

While the chipset is identical on both phones, there are 4 crucial differences -
- M33 came with Android 12, has been upgraded to 13 and will be upgraded to 14 which is due next month. It will receive security updates till Mar-2026. M34 on the other hand came with Android 13 and Samsung has promised 4 OS upgrades + 1 extra year of security updates after that which means it will go up to Android 17 and security updates till Jul-2028. That's quite a future-proof phone, at least software wise.
- M33 is LCD, M34 is AMOLED. Colours look better on AMOLED and it is brighter too but LCDs typically don't have those screen discolouration / vertical green line / burn-in issues.
- M33 has a dedicated microSD slot, M34 has it shared with the dual-SIM
- M33 has 4 cameras at the back, M34 just 3 and is missing the depth or macro. However, unlike the M33, M34 does have OIS (optical image stablization) which means shaky hands won't spoil the photos as much. M34 also has a higher resolution selfie camera (13 vs 8MP)
