Price would be around, 23k,
Still samsung consider it as inferior to A series, many features missing like Knox security, alt z switch, Samsung pay, etc..

Yes that’s a big plus for M series because Exynos is not very power efficient and would have lost the advantages of 7000mah battery if they had gone with Exynos again

Wondering what Xiaomi is doing because they are not even close to putting 6000mah battery. Already Realme had put 6000mah battery in their C series phones and samsung has moved far ahead with 7000mah.

Would be interesting to see how much the phone weighs and how thick it is. I expect it to weigh 220 grams plus. IMO 5000 mah plus 50W fast charging is the sweet spot. Battery capacity to take you through a whole day of heavy use and enough charging speed to get you to 100% in about 30 mins.
I believe we don’t need these mega batteries if we have great charging speeds. I used to charge my old phone overnight because it would take 3,4 hours for the 10w charger to charge my 5000 mah battery. But now, I don’t charge my new phone overnight because it has 30w fast charging, I just do it on the morning while I brush and change before going to work. 30 mins of charge gives me enough juice for almost the while day. This helps prolong battery life too. And IMO if a phone can get you through a day of heavy use, it’s more than enough. Mega batteries make the phone weigh too much and I like phones that weigh less

30w chargers reduces overall life of battery. Battery will die in few years.

Fast charging slightly reduces the life span of batteries but most people upgrade their phones every 2-3 years and so I don’t think there will be a big decrease in battery life. I know people who have phones with 30w chargers with very little to no decrease in battery capacity even after 3,4 years.

30w charging phones were a thing back in 2016?

Every Mobile phone batteries lithium ion or lithium polymer, does tends to detoriate or degrade over the time, they cells can’t hold up that long 3 to 4 years span of continuous usage

Yes you are right. But it still depends on how have they optimised their optimised Lithium ion battery. Since it has 7000mAh and if they give 15W charger in the box it would take hours to charge this phone right ?
On a average, people like me who just browse, check their insta feed would charge this twice or max to max thrice in a week.
Or else charging it everyday for 30 mins also will do. Battery calibration also matter a lot. Plugging in your charger at 15-20% and removing it at 90-95% also works in realtime. Now since it’s samsung software optimization, support etc wouldn’t be an issue here. We would see phones coming up with 10000mAh battery too in the coming time like the way Gionee launched their phone this week. And also will M51s come up 8000 mAh battery ?? stuck_out_tongue_winking_eye stuck_out_tongue_winking_eye stuck_out_tongue_winking_eye

+1. Even with a modest 18W charger the battery in my 10 month old Poco F1 has degraded. Roughly 10% loss. I would blame Qualcomm QC 3.0 as few folks have reported no more than expected degradation with multi-year use Oneplus Warp Charge.
