You can expect 5G in 2 years time. (O
or way before)
No one can guarantee which is the better purchase for 3 years though. Nord has very fast charging speeds. So don’t worry about battery I guess.
@aman1801
For me 3years means not slowing up after 2 yr n no lag issue soon..
Unpopular opinion maybe. Don’t update your android if you are not looking for some bug fix or some crazy feature. Once you find a stable version, stick with it for lifetime.
These 20-30k phone should run fine even after 2-3 years. I have seen upgrading slows down old phones.
Don’t really understand why people are so crazy about update.
Security patches and stuff are useful.
@aman1801
Don’t know why I’m not able to reply to specific comments.
Updates slowing down the device is most probably limited to stock ROMs only particularly the heavily skinned ones like MIUI, One UI etc. In devices running custom ROMs it should only manifest in high memory pressure scenarios in RAM-constrained devices. Pie and in particular Q aren’t too kind on 2GB devices w.r.t. RAM usage. The slowest device in my repertoire, a 2GB Redmi 3s was a few months ago flooded with several custom ROMs based on Android 10 coupled with a kernel upgrade to 4.9 (from 3.18) and it has never been more responsive. Ditto for Redmi Note 3 when it was updated to Pie, app launching speeds in particular were noticeably improved. Poco F1 which is my current primary is as fast in running Android 10 ROMs as in Android 8. OTOH MIUI users frequently complain about slowdowns with every new MIUI version.
Edit: Also to get regular security patches one has to upgrade to newer Android versions as OEMs only patch newer ones whereas older ones are dropped altogether.

Don’t know how nowadays.. 25k is considered as mid range…
?? Considering such mediocre specs…
What happened to 15 to 20k price bracket….??
Agree I was looking for same range. All hav increased price
Comapring M31s to M51, it doesn’t seem value that you will be paying 5.5k for a upgrade to 730g. If M31s is value for money, this definitely isn’t. Samsung is paying reviewers to boost good things about it but it’s in plain sight that they have better margins on this over M31s. For reference a very similar 720g M2 pro costs 14k.
Ya.. M51 is surely is an overpriced mid ranger..
If one recalls last year’s realme x2 launched at 16k with similar specs I. E. Sd 730g super amoled 64mp etc.
If anyone buys this..
Pls share personal experience and reviews here..
Its a bulky and thick phone i love my A51 for the size and compactness
