Check Cashify before buying as resell value is very less.

Getting just 20K for 6 months old and this mobile launched at 95K.

In fact, iPhone 12 mini 64GB which bought at 34K is now out of warranty still getting 22K.

If someone buys today and think to sell after 6 months then he will get even less than 15K .

Foldable (flip phones) are overpriced and overvalued. This with the specs it has should not cost more than 35k. Average phone with upper mid-range specs and poor battery.

Not sure why people are after foldables. You can't even use it as main phone mostly and not reliable as normal phones. No wonder the value getting dropped

Ohk sir and iphoes are truly value for money phones isn't

Foldable phones are new GEN technology. Samsung invested huge money on R&D for folding display. It's totally value for money and center of attraction phones. Now a days iphones is comman but when you hold these foldable phones people definitely notice and ask about it which makes truly vfm.

so it's very cheap when we look compare from his launched price.

If centre of attraction is all that you want to be, then it makes sense for you.

iPhones are no longer as expensive as they used to be once. iPhone 13 was available as low as 45k during BBD. If you buy that device today, with the software support, it shall easily serve you upwards of 4 years and still fetch you a decent resale value (easily upwards of 20k) even after years of use as compared to this Samsung Flip phone that in less than 6 months won't even fetch you 15k resale value. Samsung invested heavily in R&D doesn't mean they need to pass on that expense to the people. Barring the novelty factor, there's not much utility. Phones like Fold still make sense as you get a bigger canvas but doesn't justify the price anyday.

I agree with you and even I like Flip 3 more than iPhone 12 mini but someday we will have to sell these phones to recover our investment so we should buy a phone considering this aspect also.

Imagine those who purchased it for 95K last year are getting 17K approx for their out of warranty phone. And this price of Cashify is on just App . When their agents come, they will drop few thousands more by picking out more issues in the phone.

So, you will struggle just to get 10-12K for a year old phone ? How is this justified for a Samsung like premium brand whose phone resell value drops 80-90% value after launch ?

So, if you can bear this much of loss then only buy Flip phones.

A close friend of mine runs a second hand mobile shop sale and repairs. I had bought this phone last month for wife and he advised me to get 2 years insurance as screen fails and replacement is 25k. The reason for very poor resale value. I also came to know if my cousin 14 month old flip and screen failed. He dumped it as resale is not worth getting it repaired.
