Bro,You are so mad in applying coupon and getting your order delivered, and even you dont know how it works , i have a friend who handle hotel with swiggy service swiggy charges 30 percent commission for merchant on each order, So to manage that charges hotel people will increase the price of product or food of each item so even if you apply coupon even then you will end up paying 5 or 10 percent extra

i am very well aware of the commission and its percentage. also their might be some listing charges when a new restaurants tries to get listed on swiggy. I agree that most restaurants cost more compared to direct order but direct order and pickup is rarely possible and takes extra time and efforts and time is money. One exception can be you are commuting home to office and restaurant falls midway.
There are restaurants which cost same or even less compared to direct visit with them.
and most important the swiggy owned cloud kitchen give good quality food with good quality ingredients and very good packaging at even affordable prices compared to most restaurants.
