@Seinfeld I used to calculate like this, Bought rs.1000 vouchers(after 5% instant discount) so many times in sale time. But never got 5% cashback for using payzapp card( Directly gave card details) offered by HDFC smartbuy and rs.100 extra cashback offered by payzapp in sale time. Complained so many times. Always getting same reply that it’s not in app payment. Finally i gave up.

But for buying other brand vouchers by login into payzapp, Got rs.100 extra cashback in payzapp wallet and 5% cashback to my HDFC credit card on time.

Can a non hdfc customer get this offer from smart buy

Tips:
For amazon or flipkart voucher: add rs.1000 voucher → Buynow→ you will a popup “SBEXTRA” code→ Apply→ choose credit or debit card→ next card details, otp. That’s it. You will get code to registered phone number and email.
For other brand vouchers: Same
But to get rs.100 extra cashback offered by payzapp, Cart value should be rs.1000. You have to choose payzapp payment gateway→ Login to payzapp→ choose payzapp or linked card→ payment.

- Amazon & Flipkart vouchers have never been eligible for Payzapp cb offer. Hence Payzapp wallet option is never present for these. The temporary (for 4-5h once earlier this year) enabling as @avgn says was probably due to some error, I wonder anyone had received cb for transactions done that time.

- @UniqueDimer There is a Wallet Statement tab under transaction history in latest versions of the app. You can download and see old statements. Payzapp now shows very recent transactions on the app.

@Rakeshsah @whitewalker @Bk100 @UniqueDimer HDFC dc or cc is not mandatory, a Payzapp account will do; non-HDFC cards won’t do. Unlike initial times, Payzapp now allows non-HDFC-Bank customers to open Payzapp account. Within Payzapp account, it’s not mandatory to have an HDFC card linked, you can use it with any other card. Also, most HDFC cards do not give any extra benefit on Payzapp under ESD sale or otherwise (not sure if high end cards do).
However, an HDFC card allows you to buy extra GVs under this ESD offer. With one HDFC card or one Payzapp account, you can buy one set of Amazon or Flipkart GVs with Rs 50 off on Rs 1000 and one set of any other brand’s GVs with Rs 100-150 off on Rs 1000-1500. Two cards, or one card + one Payzapp account, allow two such sets. For extra 100 Payzapp cb, one has to have a Payzapp account and pay via that. So naturally, having more Payzapp accounts (with KYC) allows more ‘extra 100 cb’. But again, high end HDFC cards have their own Smartbuy specific big cashbacks in addition to the basic 100-150 discount.

@Peace_Of_Mind Under this ESD sale and most other Payzapp offers, Payzapp as wallet option is to be selected which is referred to as In-app Payment. Payzapp prepaid card under cards option is not allowed. If anyone wishes to use Payzapp card number hoping to receive Payzapp cb for Amazon/Flipkart GVs under ESD, no hope. These GVs do not earn the Payzapp cb either via in-app (this option is altogether absent) or via card number.
