seems like a good deal. there are not many 43 inch 4k tvs in the market. sony is sony even if there are many other companies. these companies are expensive for a reason. they invest high amounts in R&D. coming to the durability, in electronics it is always hit or miss. but owing to the high costs and fast tech these days, it is better to buy TCL or others and expect it to last only 4-5 years to buy new TVs with latest tech.
The main question remains that what’s the price of this particular model in offline stores.

Sony is literally taking Indian customers for fools who chase brand irrespective of its features. In US, they provide 65 inch for this price. Yes, In india we have 28% gst, so atleast they should be able to provide 55 Inch at that price, but they won’t.
Few months back they provided full array local dimming 65 Inch x900h for 75k with 5 years warranty, but in india they provide 55 Inch x900h with 1 year warranty at 90k. They have that potential to erase Chinese brands in india, but they r playing it cool like nokia
the logic is not that simple. if they can give for less, they can happily make more money. at the end more than us, they willlget benefitted. the reason why it is so cheap in USA these days is because the companies are not making any money on the TV it self. the std prices in USA is about $1k-$1300k for 65 inch flagship tvs. instead of charging high, these people are putting ads even in netflix. it is annoying that people are finding new ways to get rid of those ads.
here, the market for high end TVs is itself very low. then the import duties and GST. then transportation and other issues. if you have observed, recently with the revised tax, TCL has also become expensive. so what do you expect? not entirely sony’s fault.
