Terms and Conditions – Credit Card 3x Insurance campaign
Definitions

  • Bank: Standard Chartered Bank in India (SCB).
  • Offer: The offer means “Get 3X reward points on every amount spent on insurance spends using your StanChart Credit Card”
  • Offer Period: Offer valid only from 00:00:01 hours 22nd January 2021 to 23:59:59 hours 31 March 2021
  • Qualified Customer: The offer is applicable to all StanChart Credit Card customers who receive the offer communication
  • Non Eligibility: NRE and NRO cardholders will not be eligible for this offer

Offer Details

  • Customer gets 3X reward points on using their Standard Chartered Credit Card in the Insurance category
  • Customers can get a maximum of 2,000 reward points through this offer
  • Customer will qualify for 3X reward points if they use their Standard Chartered credit card in the insurance category as defined by VISA/MasterCard
  • Customers who avail EMI facility for payment towards insurance payment will also be eligible for 3X reward points
  • In case the cardholder cancels any transactions due to which he/she has qualified for the reward points, then those transactions will not be considered in the calculation of the additional reward points
  • Accumulated rewards will get posted into the customer’s account within 90 days from the end of offer period.
  • The 3X reward points will be calculated on the existing card features – If customer uses credit card which gives 1 reward point per `150 spent. Then customer will receive a total of 3 reward points per `150 spent during the offer period.
  • In the event a cardholder has multiple credit cards, transactions across all the cards will be consolidated to qualify for the offer.
  • This Offer cannot be clubbed with any other offer/promotion of Standard Chartered Bank.
  • This offer is not applicable on Standard Chartered Landmark Rewards & DigiSmart credit cardholders

Communication of the offer
The Offer will be communicated to customers through – emailers and/or SMS on their registered email address or mobile number only.

  • The Bank reserves the right to modify / change all or any of the terms applicable to this offer. The Bank also reserves the right to modify, withdraw or discontinue the offer without assigning any reasons whatsoever. Neither anything contained in these terms and conditions, nor shall running this offer be construed as an obligation on the Bank to continue the offer up to the termination/expiry date
  • Participation in this offer is entirely voluntary and it is agreed and understood by the Participants that participation shall be deemed to have been made on a voluntary basis
  • The offer is non-transferable
  • The offer shall not be available wherever it is prohibited under law and / or cannot be made for any reason whatsoever
  • All disputes under this offer are subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the competent courts / tribunals of Mumbai
  • The Bank shall not be obliged to make any public announcements of the results of the offer. The Qualified Customers shall be intimated by the Bank through Email only
  • In all matters relating to this offer, the decision of the Bank shall be final and binding
  • By participating in the offer, the Participants agree to be bound by the terms and conditions contained herein
  • Any tax or other liabilities or charges payable to the government or any other statutory authority/body or any participating establishment, which may arise or accrue to the client due to provision of the offer, shall be to the sole account of the client
