@luciferous
i think both are equally good brands
luciferous wrote:both have merged, they are basically same brand, do you have any idea about the product, basically the drill - one has variable speed and the other doesn't.i think both are equally good brands
i am using 13mm chuck model ,its quite good. not heavy duty ,but good enough to make holes through anything (give it a rest for 1-2 minutes if you make a long hole through masonry-wood and thin metal it rips through easily).Bits are also quite good (not the best quality-but good for the price).i lost one 6mm masonry bit,local 35 rs one lasted 2 holes while the original bit didnt deform even after 30+ holes

Its very useful when you want to tighten or remove screws, or places where precision is required.
For instance, you for drill at full speed, then put in the screw by adjusting the speed with no need of screw driver. All you need is a proper kit with bits and pieces. I would recommend getting a drill machine and bit pieces set separately

Don't know much about that.
Try locally, look for bits with good quality and brand.
Basic bosch masonry kit is available in Amazon.
Look for coated bits if you want more life(ceramic or titanium nitride coated)

You can find them on Amazon just search for drill bit set. There are 3 types of bits - masonry, metal, and wood. Apart from these, there are other additional things that you can see in the set such as screw driver bits and much more.
raj__raj wrote:Yes variable speed necessary,for drilling more speed ,for screwing less speed(it gives more torque)

Order of drilling for masonry
full sped drill with impact on
fill the hole with wall plug(preferably plastic plugs available in shops else wood)
then use screw and insert it with machine(impact off least speed with screw bit),incase you want to remove it in future(otherwise use hammer-if hammer used screw will never comeout as threading gets deformed)
sudbht wrote:You may go with Bosch x line green, X50 or even Amazon Basics that is a value for money set. I brought Amazon Basics 100 piece bit set during Prime sale and paid around 1400/- which was a sweet deal.
I did search for those and found few but if you know anything personally bought would be helpful.
Anyone ordered got the delivery?
