The body is designed with special flexible plastic for durability. I have bought 3 coolers of this model starting from 2014, latest one bought in 2022, and I paid 13000 for it in 2022! It's a steal for anything less than 10000.
I live in Rajasthan so coolers are a big deal over here. I have experienced 100's of brands here, only Symphony Jumbo provides the best cooling, EVEN DURING monsoon i.e. with slightly higher humidity.
As an additional help, you can install a cooler remote controller device which costs approx 600. It has a nifty feature to control the timer of the water pump like a loop of 1 out of 5 minutes, 2 out of 5 and so on. This is again helpful during himid climate.
