First of all, check your RAM frequency.
Go to task manager->Performance-> Memory.
You will see it as Speed:2667Mhz or whatever will be your RAM frequency.
Second thing, check if your laptop even supports multiple ram. Most laptops do, while some do not. This will again be in the same place(task manager). You will see something like slots used: 1 of 4 or 1 of 2.
Now, some laptops are easy to open and upgrade while for some, the manufacturers make it difficult to even open. Search for your laptop make and model on youtube and if it looks easy and doable, go for it yourself. Otherwise, if you are not confident do not open your laptop. Go to a service center, they might charge you 300-400rs for it.
PS- you also need to know the RAM type. You can find it in task manager itself but only for DDR3 and below. There are other methods to find out using cmd but better to install CPU-Z a light weight software.
