This kills the millennia card.
- No more 10% or 15% during extra savings days on Amazon via smartbuy
- No more 10% on Amazon/Fk GV via smartbuy Gyftr.
- No more 5% + Payzapp offers for Billpay / Bigbasket via Payzapp.
- No more 2.5% for any online purchases.
Though still a good card, but It was actually competing with the likes of DCB/infinia. Now it will try to compete with the likes of Icici Amazon or FK axis cards, however both the places it will fail as it has major limitations in max points, whereas the other two doesn’t have any limits. FK axis gives 1.5% anywhere, whereas this will give 1%.
Honestly the positives are too less and won’t matter much, as we won’t feel the need to use this card much if you have alternatives. Say for example its better to use Regalia or other HDFC cards via Smartbuy to get 5% CB + RewardPoints rather than only 5% on millennia.
Millennia still remains a good card for beginners, but no longer on the top of the chain. It was/is nice while it lasted.

When used via smartbuy it will no longer be an Amazon transaction. Only future will tell, but it seems so at least from the current terms.

Do we get 2.5% points on ola wallet load through millennia CC/DC? Please respond only if you have tried. I am aware that these cards give 1% on wallet load. However, SBI/Axis don’t treat ola as wallet. Hence the question.

Guys I got a HDFC Millennia Card in Nov 2020. I have spent almost 3 lacks on this card in the last 10 months but never got any cashback.
I didn’t know that we have to make purchases through Smartbuy on Amazon etc so I guess I won’t get those cashbacks.
Most of the spends were online, am I eligible for cash backs for the 1 Lakh or 2 Lakh spend in a year ?
When do these Cash backs come ?
Update: I just saw that I have about 3600 reward points, so are the cashbacks in form of Reward Points for this card ? For my HSBC Cashback Card, cahback simply shows as cash credit in the monthly statements.
