Devices with far faster UFS (2.1/2.2 ) storage are available in this price range. Better to avoid the heavily outdated eMMC. To give an analogy the latter is limited to SATA II speeds at most whereas UFS depending upon the generation, 2/3/4 can range from SATA III to moderate NVMe PCIe 3.0 speeds. No sense to pair a somewhat decent SoC with slow storage. App launching speeds, multitasking, data backup everything will be negatively impacted.

Nope. I am looking for one as well. Qualcomm SoC with modern CPU cores(which rules out SD680/685), 6GB RAM and UFS 2.x are my main requirements besides bootloader unlock. Also A13, preferably stock Android.
