My suggestion don’t buy any… With this number of prints, you would suffer agony due to dried up ink, lost wireless connection and I am pretty sure it won’t be cost effective. Just get it done at a local shop. This just a suggestion, so don’t get angry that this is not what I asked etc.

Yes. I also bought an inkjet printer. But the ink dries up pretty quickly if you don’t use it regularly. If printer is absolutely needed then I would suggest to go with laserjet.

Yes bro, I am aware of that because I used to make a living out of selling cheap inkjet printers and horribly expensive ink cartridges to US and UK customers. Poor souls would print barely 20-30 pages in a month and then waste the whole cartridge in cleaning the dried ink and print head when they decided to print something else. The only saving grace for Indians is using refilled cartridges or ink tanks but even then buying a 4-5 k worth printer is not justified, forget 8-10k, for this many printouts. I know printers inside out yet I never had the courage to buy one. It’s just not cost effective for home use as compared to local shop wala.

And FYI, HP hates India because barely 15-20 % of people who buy an HP printer purchase original HP cartridge. And this is where the money is. Printer itself is sold at a subsidised rate in the hope that expensive ink cartridges would make up for the lost cost and earn profit. This model is very successful in western countries. Same goes for other manufacturers.

If you can then buy Brother or Epson brand laser printer. Best quality and best reviews. Aftermarket toner cartridge might be a bit expensive as compared to HP, Canon. Branded toner would cost almost the same. But quality is just awesome for these 2 brands.

I do not reccommend to buy a printer for a few prints a month. ‘cause the tonner or so called catridge will get expire in a few weeks if it is not used.
now when we come to cheap printers the cartridge’s cost cost is high. so you will use the printer for a or two months, the cartridge, go useless, you buy one more cartridge, that too follow the same as earlier one, now you will simply go out to take print..

now think, do you realy need a printer for a few pages?
