I’m waiting too. Set myself a november 30th deadline. If I don’t see a better price/offer for MF840 by then, I’ll just buy it as soon as it comes back to 85k. Hopefully in the meantime woohoo will also come up with anotger 5-10% cb on amazon

Nah. I’m pretty fine with the current gen models. Also, new macbooks don’t mean better prices for older model. Ironically, they actually cost more than the new models. Check the prices for MGX72,82 & 92 (the 2014 models which the current MF series replaced). If anything, prices might increase because apple re adjusts the price based on $ to INR rates everytime they launch new models of the products (which is why the iPhone 6s has a higher mrp than iphone 6 had last year). Chances of rupee strengthening anytime soon arent looking great in the near future.

All tha concludes, I’ll be buying MF series macbookwithin a month or so for sure

Official applecare. Don’t really trust these third parties. But that’s not something we need to worry about yet. Iirc you can add applecare to your macbook within the first year . So wont be buying it with the macbook purchase. Will be waiting a few months. Will see if I can get it cheaper from US or HK. Have friends there. Or in case some otger deal shows up on amazon or ebay etc. In any case, thats not something I’ll be worrying myself with anytime soon

This is currently the best scheme out there if you use cashback sites and can wait upto a week.

If you can’t wait then you’ll need 8 woohoo accounts to fund this which might be challenging and time consuming. But still doable. Shouldn’t be too difficult to find 7 more people in family and friend circle to download woohoo app and gift them 10k each. See this thread for more details…
