SEBI guidelines for BSDA (Basic Service Demat Account) is as given below
- AMC= ₹0 if stock holding < ₹50k,

charts are not that good. They have designed their model around discount broker concept yet charge brokerage for delivery. That’s why I have omitted them.
What about groww?
They are showing 0 amc
EkdamSastaRaju wrote:Hdfc bank 0 Amc if you hold preferred , just need to buy 1 stock for any amt per year
And lodu zerodha leaks your no , everyday spam calls for stock tips and investment
I have never received a call for stock tips and all. Not even messages.
Using zerodha since 3 years.
Moneycontrol, online tutorials, bankbazar, etc leak your number

they charge for delivery. 🙂🙂🙂 Charts are not good.
Thanks for your awareness posts
around 20 days ago; @bikidas2060 bhai suggested opening finvasia Demat for my cousin. Received two back-to-back allotments with 50%+ GMP in the same account. seems bikibhai’s blessings came free with demat.
In the beginning, Its UI and account opening method gave me hard time. but we can reach to it’s a telephonic customer care person within 45 seconds. which is the fastest among all my 4 demats.

How about GROWW
hemant_rec3 wrote:How about GROWW
0.1% brokerage on delivery

There would be many things which would be easy with big discount brokers like upstox, zerodha (ease of operations, customer support, withdrawals wat not). My personal opinion only feel free to ignore.
"@rsai01":https://www.desidime.com/users...10 i cudnt agree with u more especially for long term investors who don't churn.
But OP post useful for fence sitters... esp DD community most are only cost conscious. This is a good start to make them value conscious also. So +🔥
Final point "@bikidas2060":https://www.desidime.com/users/...51 i may be wrong but afaik as per SEBI all brokers have to allow BSDA option. So Zerodha etc everyone is eligible.

there is a catch bhai. DP charges. Some brokers like Motilal Oswal charge 75₹ as DP charge from BSDA holders, similar story for Sharekhan. 🙂🙂🙂
0 AMC, 0 Brokerage for delivery brokers ive found so far
Alice Blue (one time fee approx 500)
Prostocks (one time refundable deposit of 1000)
Tradeplusonline (one time fee approx 500)
Tradingo (they provided 0 AMC a year back, but need to ask their support before opening account)

Those 2 are amongst legacy leeches sucking hard earned investors money in the name of brokerage. highly avoidable! 🪱
To my mind, best is IDFC 3 in 1 account with Zerodha… u get a banking relationship with an excellent ethical bank, LTF cc and of course Zerodha which I feel is head and shoulders the best brokerage for investors (may not be for traders) 🏆
Zerodha also offers a BSDA account but i don’t know whether it can be part of the 3-in-1 account. Like @rsai01 said, costs in long term are immaterial. 3-in-1 account is the best!!! 😌

rightly said, bhai. Yes, Zerodha’s BSDA is compatible with IDFC 3 in 1 account.
I’ve a sharekhan account for past 17 years… their AMC charges are approx 1000 including hidden charges… additionally they charge like fixed charges on penny stocks for example for a 20 ps stock you end up paying almost 10 ps as trading charges.
I requested to close my account 12 years back but since I was outstation I could never visit branch to get the formalities done. Couple of days back I received a mail saying there’s an outstanding of approx 6k against my account… BTW I never traded using sharekhan in last 12 years and had a balance of approx 2k when I left using it. Should I just ignore it or pay the outstanding and request for closure again.

only finvasia. No no. Kotak has it. Kotak trade free plan
where are list of charges of bsda comparatively to normal amc mentioned?

When you are serious about long term investment with plans of a sizeable corpus it is not a good idea to bother about 300-400 AMC charges (it will be really negligible with a decent size portfolio). There would be many things which would be easy with big discount brokers like upstox, zerodha (ease of operations, customer support, withdrawals wat not). I've been a finvasia user for about a year. It suits my needs ( I don't follow daily stocks, just buy during dip or when a sector I follow has policy changes)
