12% Club - Future?

hello i have started investing in 12% club for the past 4-5 months, it looks pretty decent in terms of daily instant credit and instant withdrawal.

however i am always in constant fear that one day they might run away with my money, had bitter experience with lenden (lost 5k on investment of 15k, that too got money back after 15-18months).

anyway back to 12% club, have you invested in it? What are your views about holding money in this?

TIA.

Edit: this post has turned into financial Gyan, what i was looking for is has anyone faced any problem with 12% club, as they seem to be doing everything right currently and anything triggers to look out for.

Why live in fear bro, if u have fear just stop further investment.

I would suggest concentrate on primary source of income…We all will excel better in life ….Just my view.

lenden allowed P2P investment to other individuals. Initially i was getting regular emi credits then all of a sudden they stopped .

i contacted lenden then i was informed that those individual stopped paying, and the only action that lenden took was reported those PPL to cibil so that their score gets affected.

ppl taking loans from lenden do not care about cibil, so I don’t think that will threaten them to pay and they never pay.

in one case i lent 3k to one person and he didn’t even pay a single emi and that loan was classified as NPA in 3-6 months.

Lenden has all their documents but the only action they can take is report to cibil which is useless for users who take these petty loans of 20-50k loans.

I did not invest in 12% club, but I did try Peer2Peer investing. 12% club is also same. Peer2peer is risky, it is a form of alternative investment. For investments like this you have to take calculated risks i.e., you have to invest a certain threshold of amount which can guarantee you good returns even if some of your investments go wrong.

But think over this:- can you compound your money just the same way you can compound in equities? Equity mutual funds are much simpler, all you need is discipline to keep investing year after year even though they don’t yield anything for long periods. Just pick a index fund and keep investing for long term.

In the short term for things this 12% club you have to take calculated risks. Or you can simply invest a couple of thousands extra( which turns out to be a single outing a good restaurant  ) in liquid funds and sleep peacefully. It’s just about choices.

The returns for the last year or two have been very low for liquid funds, which is way less than the inflation rate.

so investing couple of thousands extra in liquid funds will definitely not make the cut.

i am already investing through SIP every month for the last three years into index funds,

Absolutely, P2P platforms like Mobikwik Xtra and 12% club are the way that investments in India will be made in the future. People in India neither prefer investing in banks, which offer low returns, nor stocks, which have high volatility. As a result, they are constantly looking for ways to reduce both of these risks.

This alternative is a P2P platform like Mobikwik Xtra; you can earn returns of up to 12%, and there is no risk involved because the invested funds are spread.
