Is this your version of news?

Just asking for my reference, where in their contract did they mention that they wont refund even a dime? And which software providers do refund for the glitches found?

Ministry of Finance and People (CA/Advisors/IT Filler) Complained and based on that there were 2000+ Technical issues found in Infosys made IT New Website, and Also Ministry of Finance told them to solve this within 1 month and there 1 month completed on 22nd July and even after this Website didn’t fixed!

This kind of Pathetic Service Infosys provided.

they should do it for free as it’s our nation’s income portal. Not justified.

Infosys should feel proud that they developed and designed the Indian Income Tax Portal, taking money is not a good thing.

Hope Infosys refund back that money to Government or else credit it to PM Covid Relief.

Businesses eise hi kaam karti hai.

Cognizant said it incurred $118 million in revenue loss due to exiting the customer and an additional expense of $33 million, primarily related to the impairment of assets. This impacted the growth in the banking and financial services vertical in the December quarter by 730 basis points. Source: https://m.timesofindia.com/business/india-busin...

People have missed “Infosys has acknowledged the technical issues in the functioning of the portal. The Income Tax Department is continuously engaged with Infosys to expedite the resolution of any pending issues. The project is governed by the contract between the Income Tax Department and Infosys Ltd in respect of any glitches impacting the terms and conditions of the contract,” the minister said.

He further said Infosys has informed that technical issues noticed in the functioning of the portal are continuously being resolved. Some of the initial issues experienced by taxpayers regarding slowness of the portal, non-availability of certain functionalities or technical issues in functionalities have been mitigated.

The tax department is taking corrective measures through Infosys based on feedback from taxpayers, tax professionals and representatives of Institute of Chartered Accountants of India (ICAI), Chaudhary added.

One line to say…
All Govt websites are developed and maintained by either TCS or Infy. Wipro never do this kind of things.
All Govt websites are junk and never work as expected.
Get a clue, why is it to so…why Wipro never takes up these projects….Premji never believes in under the table business…

As i said earlier Infosys should refund the money to the Government.

Kaam karna hai toh acche sey karna chahiye. Aise hi bada bada amount leke lootna nahin chahiye.

Finally managed to fill my return today…
Pathetic experience (Initially used Cleartax to carry out all calculations ITR2)
but Cleartax has not enabled e-filing (as Income tax portal has not provided them the required APIs)
After waiting for more than a month did it on Income tax portal

Full of bugs, figures wont get calculated properly (had to remove few entries and add it again for other sections to reflect properly). wasted additional 4 hours struggling with Income tax portal.
1 hour work took 5 hours
