Don’t know any solution for it but if you have decided then you can use a lighter or matchstick. Why do you want to burn it?

If anyone is still thinking of burning notes ( especially from the comment section), please consider to donate them to poor people.

@Rakesh1034
A thread for this too?
You could’ve simply googled to get the answer via first result (visit RBI office for exchange)

// Is there any solution for burning burnt notes? //

BTW you can post D&D threads in any language, it doesn’t have to English : )

PS: If anyone wants to burn the banned notes, i think its completely legal (?) to do it as the currency holds zero value but burning excess number of notes can bring uninvited guests to doorstep!

With the law coming into force, possession of more than 10 pieces of the old notes by individuals and more than 25 pieces for study, research or numismatics purpose will be a criminal offence, attracting fine of Rs 10,000 or five times the cash held, whichever is higher.
