5G network option issue in Moto G 5G

Moto G 5G, in network & sim settings, 5G option appears if there is Airtel or Vi SIM inserted but it disappears if I insert Jio SIM.
In my area, only Jio 5G launched, not Airtel/Vi.

This issue looks strange. Is it related to software update ? or network setting update ? or 5G launch ? or else ? Anyone else have any idea about this or facing such issue in their 5G handset ?

Looks like a software bug. You can dial *##4636##* to change network as well.

already tried. Even after selecting NR option there, only 4G, 3G, 2G options appear in settings->network settings when Jio sim present. When Airtel/Vi present there appear 5G, 4G, 3G, 2G options automatically !

Have you checked with only the Jio SIM inserted?

It shows that the mobile supports 5G. Also, if the issue is with mobile then how it shows 5G option when Airtel/Vi sim inserted ?

Yes. 5G option didn't show whenever Jio sim present in one or both slots (including the case when in one slot Jio sim and other sloth empty)

Looks like Moto didn't deliver the software update necessary to enable 5G SA which is required in case of Jio. It's par for the course for Moto.

Only 5G NSA can be expected to work.

Many complaints in Lenovo forums regarding lack of Jio 5G support.

Reset the Network Settings and also take out all SIM and Reboot the device and then check!
