Friends,
I Just started an online store in the name of https://oyesho...in and need your cooperation to make it successful.
Currently only few products are loaded, products will increase based on customers response.
I just posted this thread to get feedback/complains regarding any orders placed on the site and also work on any shortcomings of the site. Payment gateway is Razorpay. COD is available
Initially their could be some titbits while placing orders, but I assure you any payments made on site are completely refundable.
Feel free to post your feedback and complaints here in this thread….
Thanks

Or should I start YouTube channel
If you are experienced developer I’ll advise you to go with any free script like WordPress but if you are not into development, sites like shopify are good to gain experience.
Need to improve load times.
Good luck.
Good luck for your venture bro
Some technical insights from my experience as a full stack dev (take it as a positive criticism):
TLDR: Go through this report if you have a technical background: https://developers.google.com/speed/pagespeed/i...
Your page is taking too much time to load and render the view (your homepage downloads 13MB of data to load, this is too much).
Your main JS file: https://oyeshoppy.in/themes/laber_gokko_homepag... is not minified; Use the minified version.
Your banner images are way too large, roughly 1MB each; You would want to compress them with some lossless compression techniques (png to jpeg alone would help a lot for starter; later you can advance to better ones).
You might want to add a virtual scroll and display only 1-2 page scroll length of data, rather than displaying all data in one page in one shot.
Currently you show a loader icon before rendering the complete DOM; the loading icon itself takes 2-3 secs to come up which defeats the purpose; maybe you can show the lightweight basic header/footer first and show the loader in the center so that the customer can see something while your main data loads. This kinda depends on you how you implement.
Some of the images are way too large (not talking about file size, but rather the length/width); for example this image: https://oyeshoppy.in/img/cms/circle-cropp...ng this is a 708×708 original, but you are rendering it in a small some 160×150. If you crop/resize the image at the server only, then instead of downloading this 730KB of image, it would have been some 150KB only; and this is not even assuming the compression part, this is just resizing/cropping to what you want to display.
On the homepage, clicking on those circle waala kurta/jacket/jeans etc. doesn’t make any server side call, which means you have loaded all this on the page load itself; this should be an event based or on-demand call to load the data, rather than preload everything on the page load; you can even do lazy loading with prefetch if you want (dunno if jquery has it or not, but angular has it, might want to explore a bit on this)
Clicking on the add to cart on homepage also takes 3-4 secs (or sometimes even more); I can see this is due to low performing api/db call; you might want to optimize your backend depending on your logic.
This is just a performance related insight from my perspective based on only the homepage. Similar analysis can be done on the inner pages too. I can also see a decent number of functional issues too, like your search throws a 500 error and hence doesn’t work. Some minor small small UI issues also.
Again, please don’t take this as negative feedback; it’s just so that a lot of things can be improved;
Great work considering one man army, May the force be with you
Thanks for your valuable inputs, I’ll definitely work on all inputs posted here and try to fix them all… 🙂
Add Amazon gvs sir
All the best for ur business
Yes page loading took 1min
Good luck bro
why not sell on Amazon and Flipkart? By doing so you will decrease the expenses of hosting a site, i know right now its on basic hosting. But for good speed you need to upgrade to high end hosting.
Make sure ur contact number not in spam in true caller
Delivery charges ? Update delivery related q&a
Return or exchange policy?
@Jagsss if most of the users would from India only ( which seems most likely ), host the site on Indian server. This will also help in getting the site loading faster.
Layout is simple and clean..but It took too much time to load…just checked page speed, lot to improve ( Mobile browser) ..
