The New IOS and Android update of the Aarogya Setu app is very helpful and soon it’s also available for e-pass! let’s see what is the use of this e-pass and how to get it. it is still on coming soon. might be useful after 20th April.

They knew people are laughing at them because of this (except those who believed 2K notes have GPS chips embedded) which is why they brought this new e-pass thing.. to divert the attention (Making it useful in someway)

Aarogya setu app was to check if u come near anyone surroundings with a corona infected or not, but u will not install, i know, because people will come to know that you are infecting other peoples.
In china, its compulsory to send your daily temperature for each and every person to update their temperature multiple times. they will not allow to enter in your own home, if they don’t update police are forcefully tking then into hospitals and putting heavy fines
Some peoples have problem with everything. So sad
People believe the app will save them from corona 
Others believe that by saying a particular prayer they won’t get the virus
Then they open the door for a pizza delivery boy or a milk man and that’s the end

I used this by the way. Because despite my pity to these govt. I still wanted to see whether indeed this app would do what is supposed to, i.e. identify and alert whether I am under any hotspot area or not but all it did were kept my BT on constantly, why would you even need Bluetooth was beyond me, and secondly it showed that most important thing is self assessment, like do some tests and see whether I have the virus or not. Big Lol. Also you have to input your name age email etc. and register first before using it. Uninstalled it the next day obviously. The only permission this should have needed was your phone’s location, the GPS, but nah.
Seriously, people who use this app are messed up (Senior citizens excluded). No comments on them who actually created the app.
I don’t support anything or any one… But I found below on their privacy policy on the Bluetooth thing… It seems it works if all installs apps and all switches Bluetooth on 
“When two registered users come within Bluetooth range of each other, their Apps will automatically exchange DiDs and record the time and GPS location at which the contact took place. The information that is collected from your App will be securely stored on the mobile device of the other registered user and will not be accessible by such other user. In the event such other registered user tests positive for COVID-19, this information will be securely uploaded from his/her mobile device and stored on the Server”
Aarogya Setu’s not all that healthy for a person’s privacy.

The government has done very little to contain the spread of coronavirus and they should be criticised for it. The app itself is useless and is most probably a face saving gimmick. But, I’m still puzzled with the way a large faction of a religious community has acted till now. In contrast, every other community has more or less adapted to the crisis and is abiding by the instructions of the local authorities. Why is it that the authorities need to address them specifically so to make them behave in a certain way — which unsurprisingly is naturally ingrained inside most of us Indians? There is more to this nature that we need to understand instead of just brushing it off.
Why everyone is expecting the App to work flawlessly the 1st time itself…..
Govt. may not be developing it directly and the agency working for it will have limited number
of good programmers available right now (mera aisa sochna hai)

Yes, precisely. The second post on the last page and the user thereof, has been intimidating the mods and silently provoking others to do the same for a while now. I’ve noticed it long back but never bothered as I have better things to do. So kindly report users like him, who derail a topic upon their lies and manipulation is exposed.

The woman confirmed to mid-day that she had downloaded the Aarogya Setu app and filled in the information.
Another officer said, “The action was taken on the basis of a message from the state government to the ward office. This may have something to do with contact tracing. This is a purely precautionary measure.”

For the smart people who think this app is just a junk for your information this app tracks gps location of the user and it will help the government to check that who all got in contact with the person having corona virus by checking who all came in contact the person tested positive in neraby past and for the people who think they can hide digital data from government (sorry to burst your bubble) all the general apps like Google Whatsapp Facebook have liabilty towards the government that if the government needs any kind of data they will have to provide it. So it’s your choice to help the government easily/willingly or they can anyways get your data

Who told you this app tracks the GPS location of the user ?? It does not…It works ONLY on Bluetooth which is useless…
India would have prepared for this virus far before in January. They would have mass-produced the testing kits, developed the hospitals with proper equipment. Instead the government wants Hindu-Muslim Violence. Indian Government is a joke when compared to other countries’ governments like South Korea.
South Korean Government broadcast messages to the people in a certain area where cases are positive. They even send the information about the route of the positive patients in the last 14 days so that anyone who may have crossed paths with them would know and get the testing done.
South Korea with a population of 5 crores mass-produced the testing kits and tested more than 3 lakhs people. India has a population of 130 crores and didn’t even test 3 lakh, people, until now. Indian Government should learn a lot from the South Korean Government.
As for the Arogya Setu app, It is not at all useful if everyone doesn’t use it. A lot of people are present in India who doesn’t use Smartphones. What happens if they are infected and the Government doesn’t know where they were in the last 14 days. Government just released this app just for “show” that they are doing something.

Let India start doing rapid tests & then we will talk…

India has 140 crores of population & the less +ve cases are because of the less number of tests (only like 0.3-0.4% of the total population)…You won’t even know how many deaths are occurring everyday in India without being reported because there were no tests…Plus there are data hiding by the state & the central Govt on the total positive/total tested people…
