In my recent deal in which I gave example of Kwality walls for deal
But many dimers started targeting Kwality walls as it use palm oils, not an ice cream , crap, shit and what not .
But My opinion is why we are judging it on basis of its making and not on it taste , I am not comparing it with any other brand and it is also not promotion 🙂 just asking why this all !
Also I like Kwality walls 'frozen desserts' in terms of texture and taste both, what you all think and also it is a popular brand, I think as people likes its taste.
Also we eat street food which is much more unhealthy than this offcourse what there we don't think about health and after knowing junk foods unhealthy effects we are still consuming because of taste only!!!😐😐

Nothing bad in it.
U like forzen dessert, it's good, somebody doesn't like it, it's good too.
Taste wise, I love it... Although I mostly eat their basic variants only, not the fancy/exotic one
Yeah, definitely health and taste are two different parameters and should be dealt separately as per one's own preference.
But its not like Amul ice cream (since that brand was widely mentioned there) is bad in taste (while comparing to kwality Walls).
For a consumer, frozen dessert and ice cream are interchangeable things. So if someone is interested in buying a sweet and cold dessert, it's better going for ice cream since it's healthier without any compromise with taste.
One of the main advantages of desidime as a community is that it goes beyond just prices and discounts. Such discussions are an example of that
not all street food is unhealthy, not all frozen deserts are unhealthy. but why should I pay the same price as ice cream for cheap vegetable oil product?

You wrote Ice cream in tittle and now mad after ppl corrected you
Their whole business model is based on ignorance and advertisement
Most ppl don't even know the difference between frozen desert and icecream
they even sued amul for their real milk icecream ads https://www.livemint.com/Industry/zpL0Mj0sPM653...

I love it. Always buy a big family pack every summer 🙂
Why not get Amul & be tension free .
It's very simple. Frozen dessert is cheap in quality, made with vegetable oils. Kwality uses Palmolive oil in some of their Desserts which is considered very unhealthy. While the quantity of such vegetable oil is low, why should one buy cheap quality food when one can have milk based ice cream like Nandini, Amul etc? FD are mixed with emulsifiers, more artificial substances to make them similar in look and feel to ice cream which is made of milk.
Coming back to this thread, personally speaking Kwality Walls aka Frozen Desert & Soft / Cold drinks are something I avoid even If offered for free, although they are good in both taste & price but I believe health is more precious than saving few bucks.
Everyone has a different opinion someone's view might match with yours some of them might not but that's how it us, we all can't exact same.
Apart from that, HUL is well known for such stuff.
Disclosure : Our firm has a reasonable stake in HUL & my opinions might be biased.

Palm oil is not unhealthy. Otherwise how are south east people living on palm oil for centuries??
The only con of palm oil recently is the massive commerical palm oil farming and deforestation results, which is a common problem to all mass commercial farming.
I've seen written reports by western scientists saying coconut oil is toxic. Now are you also going to say that it's unhealthy??

Just went through your previous thread, I see healthy debate there but nothing like targetting your or your deal. Here, we as community talk many more things which are way more beyond deals and discounts, that's why we love this community. Nothing to get dishearten since nothing was specifically for you.
That's why there is separate discussion forum on DD. Hot deal section is different thing, not a discussion section.
OP never thought of being targeted @rickter_5911 am I right? OP only asked "why we are judging it on basis of its making and not on it taste , I am not comparing it with any other brand and it is also not promotion 🙂 just asking why this all"
that discussion is good in this section and not that. That's why OP created this discussion.
if dimers started pointing out only cons in all such deals e.g. mustard oil (heart problem), sweets (sugar problem) that'll make deals uncomfortable for buying. One posted deal of let's say Honey, someone will comment that's it's pure sugar syrup. Okay, I have a proof? Good, then what? Why FSSAI didn't revoked license!
It should be avoided in those such deals which has high real reviews, branded items. This impacts the deal and poster's mindset sometimes even.
Agreed with "healthy" point and "believe health is more precious than saving few bucks".

I am also saying the same thing why they are comparing Ice cream and frozen desserts, maybe they believed both to be same before.🤨
The problem is when, when any brand hides what they are doing as many big companies do ,@quantum @M0n @LordGane @shh_my_dog_is_sleeping @magur @MrThanos @saymyname78 @noobDealer @androgame @kartikxxx @BlueFlash @tappukepapa
In this case they are even clearly mentioning all the ingredients and quantity of palm oil for them who are concerned and still we all know the respective brand's popularity!!
Also For those who are talking about health- Jab tak pta nhi hota hme ki kaise bna h tab tk shi h sab(kyuki hm us baare me sochte hi nhi) aur jaise hi pta chale to unhealthy¡¡

Here you go. There's two types of oil, plus the effects of cancer results are not even conclusively done for decades as done against others (as some are done on volunteered/or tricked humans and in recent years, lab grown human cells). You can read it on healthline website, which is curated by doctors.
https://www.healthline.com/nutrition/palm-oil#T...
And as per your shared wiki article, it says it reduces male fertility! Its pure bullshit 🤣 Not any country's population that has based palm oil consumption for 1000s of years had shown that!
If you're so interested in falling for that propaganda by all means go ahead but let me warn you Kellogg's, General Mills, Johnson and Nestle and similar big brands cereals and cosmetic are selling far higher cancer and other fatality related products 🙂

What is this logic that it is written there? If it is written there and still people don't know, then they need to know.
Isn't it common sense that people judge something better after knowing that thing more ? After knowing the difference between Vegetable oil based frozen dessert and Milk based ice cream, they get to know what is healthy and what is not. What is wrong here too? And eating an unhealthy product does not make that product healthy.
