Hi guys, I am about to buy TVS RAIDER 125 cc smart connect 2023 (Bluetooth Version)  which will cost me 1.3 Lakhs on road.  i have searched around the internet for both good looks, light weight and best Mileage bikes and I have found this bike to be the best option. i test drove and it felt good.

Main Features are:
* 125 cc
* Mileage -67 KMPL (company claimed)
   i am expecting at least 60KMPL
* BLUETOOTH ( not a huge fan of this
feature because they are already providing USB port so i can always mount my mobile for navigation, but i liked the big 5" inch TFT Display and UI is great in this 2023 version)
* Light Weight - 123 KG (also a main factor for me)
* Height - is good enough for me
* Head lamps - LED's
* Front Disc
* SBS (not ABS) - synchronised breaking feature TVS has where when Rear brake is applied then front Disc is also engaged a little)

will keep adding few more details.

need Dimers/ Users inputs here. Your advice will be greatly appreciated. TIA

Nothing against TVS but I find their motorcycles to be very light weight which is not a good thing in high speeds .... More into Japanese stuff....

But since you test drove it and liked it,,, you should go ahead

Seems very reasonably priced

main difference is big Meter display, different UI and Bluetooth(which i don't need but like the first two features, that are much i am very attracted to, that is why buying this model)  Price difference is 10K.

TVS makes better vehicles than Bajaj. Did you see comparison videos on YouTube? You can consider Jupiter as well if you don't mind scooters

In 125 cc segment, its one of the best for sure.

Looks & Milage

But ek chis hai

Wheh its about longer life , TVS bikes having bad reputation

May be they have improved their quality with time

And aur ek chis

Dont look for features like Bluetooth control etc

I dont thinking paying 2-5K more for Bluetooth features makes any sense

Those features are full of headache

Make sure it's E20 compatible... I doubt TVS has made E20 ready..if not hold on your purchase for few months..

Suzuki, Yamaha are E20..

this version has Bluetooth and Big TFT display = offers Navigation and call, message, weather etc updates.

Also they included a voice assistant button too on the left side to talk into bike.

These features are all new and might have bugs and errors

Yes.. had visited Yamaha showroom last week.

All their models are E20. Just make sure it's fresh model and not a old model with dealer.

Arox had waiting of 1-2 month when I checked .

Mileage -67 KMPL (company claimed)
i am expecting at least 60KMPL

Depends a lot on riding style (coasting, engine braking, acceleration, speed etc) after considering the engine power (cc)

I used to get 50-52ish on a 160cc bike (Apache 160 RTR, ARAI Mileage: 60kmpl) Most of my friends, fellow apchains used to report much lesser number even for 150cc bike (Yamaha FZ).

 Front Disc
 SBS (not ABS) - synchronised breaking feature TVS has where when Rear brake is applied then front Disc is also engaged a little)

Do they have ABS variant? If so, I would strongly advise to opt for ABS (both front and rear) if you think you would ride on wet/gravel roads. OEM (TVS made) tyres on apache are notorious for skidding, not sure if they have improved on the technology. The chances of modifying the process for an automotive part manufacturing is very rare.

i test drove and it felt good

A lot happens when on a long/bumpy ride. I notice Raider is similar to Apache or sport bike variants. The con side I noticed on these variants is the posture is sporty, and eventually puts a lot of pressure/impact on wrist when handling the bike. On a similar note, the pillion riders will have difficulty to main posture be it single sided seating or two sided. So their weight/momentum too will add to yours when coming to a stop. So give enough importance on the type of usage your have considering your age/health, road/drive conditions

Thankyou for your inputs.

unfortunately they only have Front Disc version. Pulsar models are offering both disc's but those bikes felt heavy for me.
