While watching anything on Hotstar, we see ads in between the content. Aren’t we paying for uninterrupted or ads free content?

I don’t see ads in between content except for ipl matches
There will be ads everywhere in Vip, mobile and super plans except premium plan.
you get ads in plans other than premium.
I think if the audio stream is chosen as “Dugout” no ads are shown. At least that was the case yesterday. I am on the VIP? plan recharged back in August? I do have uBlock Origin adblocker installed…
Dugout has comparatively less ads, and is break-free during last few overs. Ads are embedded into the video stream for live sports, regardless of whether you are on vip or premium. To avoid ads for non-live programs adblockers are the best option.
hotstar vip, super, mobile has ads. i told my mom not to subscribe to hotstar and stop watching trash serials but she won’t listen so I downloaded a modded apk and voila no ads.

But hotstar modded apks don’t work now, or you are using adfree apk with your logins?
yes they are ad free apk and you need to login in order to use it.
The apk is not hotstar it is disney+ and hence it is not as same as the one in playstore and it will never get updated because of signature change.

They will continue to take your money and still treat you without respect (showing you ads and have no value for your time). Stop using it.
