In the acknowledgement, check if the assessment year is 23-24 and it should be deposited as non-company under your PAN

Does your offline acknowledged challan mentions

(0021) - Income Tax Other than Companies

(100) - Advance Tax

AY 2023-24 - as Assessment Year

PAN - Your PAN

If all of the above is yes, then are you checking the same 26AS? (Same PAN and same AY?

If yes, visit bank.

Visited bank as well, they said our job is to deduct and submit, for reflecting under 26 as contact it department,it is beyond our scope.
Tried calling it toll free number, and no success, it didn't even connect. Their ivr sucks too.

It won't be a issue. If the same details are present. I beleive that you paid your advance tax on 15th march as it was the last day without interest.

Check for the tax credits in the 1st week of april.

Alternatively, check if the tax credit details are present in AIS/TIS.

it won't be visible on 26AS. TRACES portal clearly mentions the below,

Tax paid (other than TDS) will be visible only on AIS from AY 2023-2024

Does salaried employees need to pay advance tax, as tds is already deposited by employer , so no need to pay advance tax right

It depends. The employer will know only your salaried income but if you declare other incomes like House property, investments, trading, dividend, interest income, business income and any other income.. there is no need to pay advance tax. Incase, if the other incomes are not declared with the employer, we have to assess our income and calculate the tax amount and pay the amount before due date to avoid interest.

The employer only asked to declare investments and deduction like homeloan ppf insurance etc  and not other income.

Refused the employer to deduct any tax, so now i need to pay advance as the amount was high so thought to pay some of it in advance.

It is normal in all the organisations i know, where the employer asks about the other income details during investment declaration. You might have missed it.
