Do note that all latest redmi/xiaomi phones use google dialer only which does not allow recording calls without alerting the other party that call is being recorded(same like when you contact customer care). It is not possible to install Mi dialer used in earlier models or install 3rd party apps(free or paid) to achieve the functionality of call recording like earlier.

OP check if you can get Note 10 pro somewhere(16k variant)

For users that have rooted their devices with Magisk, there’s a Magisk module for call recording, Call Recorder by SKVALEX. Interestingly the module(works with built-in dialer) is free to use but if one goes the way of the standalone app on Play Store it’s paid. It’s not limited to custom ROMs but I have no idea regarding MIUI.
In all the custom ROMs I have used so far call recording works out of the box with the included AOSP Dialer. I haven’t checked in Google Dialer.

For the OP, MIUI with 4GB can be a frustrating experience unless you don’t multitask much and/or OK with frequent app reloads. 6GB is the bare minimum.
