I booked my tickets through cleartrip. got this reply from them for Air India:

The airline is not giving full refund. However you can keep your ticket status ‘Open’ and can modify your reservation till 30th Dec,21 for travel till 31st Dec,21. You can contact us here and help us with the new travel dates so accordingly our amendment team will assist you in making the necessary changes. Please contact us within the validity period. Airline penalty will be waived off. However fare difference if any, will be applicable.

But on Air India’s website name change and fare difference seem to waived off.

I guess it is better to contact Air India. I had dropped a mail to them last week, awaiting their reply.

Better to call air india and book.
Just keep all details ready.
My flight also got cancelled….i booked Amazon (cleartrip), when i called amazon they gave some crap excuse coz they are not aware exactly.
But when i called airindia directly they booked it smoothly.

I got an email and message from cleartrip that my flight is cancelled and they have initiated a refund and waiting for airline to confirm the refund amount. I never raised the cancellation request. I will check with them how the request was raised.

Got full refund by cleartrip today including convenience charges, albeit in cleartrip wallet for expired GV and in source CC for the amount paid by CC.
