Then all will go to airport who have credit card to enjoy free food .Security will become another issue
There’s one workaround for that.
I know of some person who exploited the loophole + some cards unlimited lounge access privileges.
There was some person in China who used this loophole. He booked a free reschedule flight. Everyday he used to go to lounge eat free food and then reschedule his flight

Can the flight be rescheduled by you after issue of boarding pass and passing through final security check? 😝This is where lounges are located.
Visitor pass allows you upto check-in counters only. Lounges are located in the area after hand baggage security check accessible only to passengers carrying the boarding pass. Boarding pass is anyways mandatory for entry into lounges. If lounges allow entry without boarding pass, all airport employees/workers, store workers having valid credit cards, will overcrowd the lounge. Already it is mostly unmanageable for them.
Maybe OP has never gone to the airport as a passenger, that's why asked this question 😄
Can exit lounges be visited for free without ticket with suitable DC / CC card ?

How are you even going to enter an exit lounge without de-boarding from a plane first in which case you already have the ticket & boarding pass? Use some common sense.

That Chinese man used to book some first-class business tickets, where rescheduling is allowed after the boarding and lounge include. He did it more than 300 times.
Any legal action wasn't taken against him, as he has not violated any rules. The airline banned him from traveling and refunded the whole ticket amount as per the rules.

The article does not clearly state whether he did that after issue of boarding (it says "just flashed his air ticket"). However this First Class VIP lounge at Xianyang International Airport is located outside the security zone, where it may be possible to access just by showing the air ticket, without actually checking-in and boarding pass. There are no such lounges in India before security zone.
Otherwise after boarding pass and security check, rescheduling will require a certificate issued by Airline to return back from security barrier and exit the airport which cannot go un-noticed.
bargainhunter wrote:Likely so though not sure if some international flights deboarding let passengers access a lounge while exiting/layover.
Don't think there are any complimentary exit lounges in any city in India, right?
bargainhunter wrote:I know but thought maybe there are some exit lounge located well before the exit gate so during layover one can visit it without going further on exit gate route.
layover is different. They don't exit the airport so don't move to arrival exit gate.
