Airtel Axis Merchant Issue Started again!!!

Same happened with me some days back.

I paid on magicpin via paytm upi but paytm didn't given upto 50 cashback scratch card. 

When I asked, they said you haven't paid on magicpin.

Because merchant name was different on payment page. 

Anyway, it was giving just 2 rupee cashback generally. 

Since when are seeing this merchant name?

After you mentioned, i tried too. Got the above mentioned MCC. So uninstalled the latest app and downloaded the old app (version: 4.78.2). And got the correct MCC.

You can try as well.

I too tried recharging airtel number by airtel axis got the same name of merchant like Airtel Payments Bank - Anyways,Waiting for the Statement to generate,if issue arrives then can escalate it further!

Got less cashback in recent statement than actual spends, anyone faced same issue?

Now getting "Card bin is blocked for payment", not able to use the card at all. anyone facing this issue in airtel thanks app

Same here and it shows 1000+ cashback for me whereas max capping is 300....but cannot pay due to bin error

Tried several times but merchant name is Airtel payments bank everytime. Made the payment lets see. Will have to fight with them.

Yes, I too paid with same merchant name lets see. Also, when you see T&C it shows 300 cashback overall for Airtel and Utility. Previously it was 300 for each category, not sure if they changed

12th of every month

As per RBI, they have to give 30 months in Notice, if any terms in Credit Card changed.Seems they haven't. So, i think MCC and Website are mess up.

If they give 300 altogether, i think the card is not worth for the fee.We have Rupay Platinum card.
