Airtel Network Outage Hampered Work ? thinking about porting.

I am a  loyal Airtel customer since 2006-07 ( nostalgia first mobile nokia first connection Airtel ) but lately I am having horrific experience with them from last 7 days the services are unusable and hampering my work. And yesterday Evening it was so embarrassing as I was stuck in a store because I was trying to pay via Paytm and there was no signal ( store wala guy gave me hotspot ) now I am thinking of porting but I still have 54 days left with them if i port now to other network will i get the 54 days ? Kindly, enlighten me

Once you port out you forfeit any existing benefits be it talktime, data or whatever. 


Airtel network had suffered an outage a few days ago though I didn’t experience it. But it was supposedly  fixed by the next day. 


Are you facing issues with no network coverage or with poor internet speeds? 


Edit: Freecharge and Mobikwik have provisions for offline payment. Paytm seems to have a similar feature…

There is a cross on my status bar near the 4g signal and when i try to call someone it simply disconnects

Airtel has customer care , so u can contact them for the issue you are facing.

they are facing outage in almost everywhere due to hardware upgradation afaik

There was a network outage for Airtel customers across North India for few minutes even their customer care numbers were not working but after that their services have been restored. I also faced same outage 2 days before where my Airtel broadband and mobile connections were not working for 10 minutes. I was little worried about it for few minutes but after that everything was restored and never encountered such problems. Their services are already good, if you’re still facing issues then you should have contacted Airtel CC.

Aaj ki zamane mein ek se kuch nahin hone wala.. kya pata kab kahan dhokha mil jaaye, tab dusra hi kaam aata hai. relieved

PS: Everyone has got same issues. I don’t think porting will solve this anyday. Rather, they should aware customers of the affected region where they conduct any upgradation work.
